Ten Friends offers you the opportunity to make a Tax Deductible donation to a specific project or to make a general donation to Ten Friends or to the Elevate Nepal Initiative. General Donation to Ten Friends
| By making a "general" donation you will allow Ten Friends to financially support our programs and projects. Our Board, in consultation with our Nepal based partners and program facilitators, will determine the best and most effective ways to utilize your donation. Himalayan Education Center
| The Himalayan Education Center is a well established program supported by Ten Friends. Its focus is on providing education for young women who want to become teachers in Nepal. An annual donation of $1,000 will support one of these girls for a full year, including room, board, tuition, books, fees, etc. Read more about the Himalayan Education Center. |
Hopeful Home Orphanage
| In 2008, Ten Friends developed a special relationship with the Hopeful Home Orphanage (HHO) and helped them to purchase a new home. An activities manager was hired to give the children more structure and routine. In 2009, we hired a full-time activities director and tutor. A donation of $240 will provide one child a school sponsorship for one year. Read more about the Hopeful Home Orphanage. |

| By making a "general" donation you will allow Elevate Nepal to financially support our programs and projects. Our Advisory Council, in consultation with our Nepal based partners and program facilitators, will determine the best and most effective ways to utilize your donation. Over 50 kids have been sponsored by Elevate allowing them to attend school, to receive supplies and clothing. Through education, they are now on the path to improving not only their own lives but others who they will encounter in their community. Through your $500 contribution we will pay for their tuition to a government school, pay for registration and exam fees, pay for after school care and provide them with books, school supplies, shoes and uniforms.
